Side projects have been a cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. While full time jobs provide valuable experience, they often come with limitations on what technologies or ideas you can explore. Side projects allow you to experiment, learn, and showcase your skills in ways that work cannot always offer.
Many of the skills I use today cloud integrations, building scalable APIs, and advanced frontend architectures were honed through side projects. One such project was a small analytics dashboard I built from scratch. This project taught me how to handle data pipelines, design a UI that's intuitive, and optimize performance for large datasets.
